97 kms. 700 vertical meters. First 250 meters down and 300 meters up again, took one hour. Then mainly downhill, an easy day. Armenia is a big city, we saw some nice and modern new housing developments before we reached the city. Past it we found ourselves in probably a prosperous region, nice houses, beautiful gardens and general scenery. We reached Roldanillo at app. 15.00 hrs. and checked in at Hotel La Posada (simple, cheap, helpful, good), opposite of the modern museum building (29 years ago built by a Mexican architect).
I knew that the headmaster, Enrique’s friend was in a school meeting, so I decided to check wether a meeting now or later would be proper. It appeared to be a disappointmemnt. The headmaster came out of the meeting and showed the premises in a short way. I had hoped for an invitation to come in one (or some) of his classes tomorrow and have  a discussion with the students. But none of that, there was either no interest or he never got the idea. 15 minutes later it was over. Aftyer that Eveline and I had a interesting visit to the museum, Museo Rayo . The artist seems to be a combination of Esscher and Mondriaan, quite intriguing pictures. Later we spotted himself visiting the museum, on a old man walking with a stick and guided by a young woman, an museum official.
