Bogotà, no bikes!

Arrived in Bogotà with some delay. In the bagage area it was a mess. There were lots of suitcases that didn’t have Bogotà as their destination, and there were numerous of our fellow passengers whose luggage had not arrived at all.We were half lucky, half unlucky: our bikes were not there. We went through the administrative crap and now we hope that the machines will arrive today. Fingers crossed. This is the second time that Iberia messes up with our luggage. When we returned from Buenos Aires a long time ago, it took them 10 days to send our bags home. We hope and pray that this time they will do better.
Casa Platypus is an agreeable guesthouse, though in our view a bit too pricy for what it offers. But very good atmosphere, nice people. Today we made a walk and visited the Botero museo, world class! The weather is agreable, sunshine during the day, about 21 C and fresh mountain air (alt. 2600 mtrs), during the nights you need a vest. Tomorrow we re going to see Bogotà by bike, with own or rented bikes.
