The last 50 kms and 1350 climbing meters, though Riva is at 100 m above sea level. When we start it’s raining quite heavily. But after an hour it starts clearing up and yhis is an oppoetunity for some nice pics (below). Going down we have our first view of Riva and the lake, exitement! Somewhat more down we stop at Lago di Tenno, where we bath and behave quite foolishly: Euforia, the end is almost there. Then follows a really brak-burning descent (smell!) into Riva town and we find ourselves in the square at the lakeside. End of a magnificent tour. Happy and satisfied. Not at all what Andy earlier called "a girls’ and cappucino-tour". Congratulations, gsm-calls to the homefronts, big icecreams. Then via GPS to the old glory Grand Hotel Riva, where we have to carry the bikes up the stairs to park them in a meeting iroom. After the freshing up some beers, a mediterrenean dinner with good regional wine. Glad and sorry it’s over.
