Yesterday we rode 70 kms, the longest stretch until now. Nice road along the north east coast of the island. The heat is bearable iby now, it seems you get used to it, there were no long or steep slopes, so not difficult. We stayed the night in a lousy bungalow, with an aircon like a diesel-engine, had a lousy dinner brought to us by a lousy waitress. It seems that we had found the only Balinese person in a bad mood. Everyone else on the island is constantly smiling, waving, greeting and talking happily to us. It was immediately at the seafront though, we left the curtain open and had the sunrise right into our faces. Fortunately we only paid accordingly, a lousy 10 Euros.
