3rd stage

Left Nauders to start the climb to the Reschenpass immedeately. After a good 2 hours and 1000 meters of ascent we reached the highest point, after riding and later pushing and even carrying our bikes. Fantastic views, the Austrian-Italian border and a coffee stop at the Reschener Alm, where deep and far away we could see the churchsteeple of the drowned village (artificial lake). Then steep down to the valley and via good small roads and later a fantastic cycle track to Glurns for lunch. Glurns is a small walled medieaval city, of which there or more nice examples in this Vinschgau valley. After 100 kms we passed Merano to find our hotel in Tscherms (Cermes in Italian).
